Biography:

On December 21, 1961, the man, who has several times been the world champion and winner of the Grand Champion trophies, was born on the State Island Cab Verde, West-Africa. At the age of 17 he had his first contacts with the different styles of martial arts. In 1986, he was already appointed the second Master Grade in Wun Hop Kuen Do, and apart from that, he was three times world championships winner. In 1992, he attained the third and fourth Master Grade. Up until now he can look back at five world championships and various awards. His successes are characterized by cleverness in martial arts styles such as Wun Hop Kuen Do, Capoeria, Eskrima, and African Stick Rhythm. With the help of his great master, he has become a real coryphaeus in martial arts. A couple of years ago, he has founded his own group, with which he travels to diverse events throughout the country, such as the so called 'Budo-Galas'. On those occasions, he tries to present the beauty and 'humor' of martial arts in a completely different manner. Apart from his function as a teacher, he devotes himself since 1984 to the fields of theater, TV and film.

In order to perfect their productions, various German theater-managers and filmmakers take advantage of his extensive knowledge about martial arts. He functions as actor, choreographer of action-scenes and stunt-coordinator. At the beginning of 1995, he took over the management of the sports-school - the Taiyo Sports Center in Hamburg -, where all the different styles of martial arts are offered and supervised by well-known instructors.
